Nature

A nation wide lockdown,
Panic and havoc in the streets initially
Are substituted by silence.
A silence so quiet, it is deafening;
A silence that can be seen.
The cities turn into ghost towns and daily routines disturbed.
With only a few humans on the outside, the birds are chirping, rejoicing,
The plants breathe fresh air,
The animals return to their homes,
The water pure,
Nature is nourished again
Nature wins - always.
