Grandparents

The joy grandparents emanate, is one like none other
From riding one more time on their back, to holding their hand while they walk now
From asking them to take us one more round in the car, to driving them to errands
From them educating us through books and stories, to us updating them with the latest technology
From listening to their childhood stories, to them living their childhood with us growing up
From sneakily eating chocolates with them without our parents' knowledge, to sharing the same ice cream tastes
From learning about our cultures and festivals, to finally being old enough to burst a fire cracker oneself
From teaching us to play sports, to finally being able to 'match up' to their skill
From learning about life as it is, to actually living it with them
We both grew up but never apart
For they are the best partners in crime we have and ever will
For the love of grandparents is unending...
