Death

Death, a phase of life
Disturbed by all.
Entire life spent in thought of death
Questions unanswered.
Death and then what?
Death or life, what is more painful?
What do people fear more, life or death?
Which has more suffering?
Who suffers the most, the individual or the outside world?
Once lived, death is certain.
Don’t know when,
Don’t know how,
But certain of it.
Those departed smiling upon us,
And those alive interpreting it.
All our lives anxious of the moment
Leading to us existing and not living.
And then it strikes, without warning,
Leaving us as fragments of memories
As we fade into darkness.
