Colours

Colours

Colours of the world, so powerful are they,
Yet, blinded towards it we are.
Colours, so subtle and plain,
Ever so difficult to understand.
Boundless in their appearance,
But do we really live them?
The blue of the ocean, the green of the forest,
The white of snow, the yellow of the sun,
So sublime in their own element,
Each in its own beauty,
Its own significance, its own life.
A drop of each enriching our lives,
The nectar of them ever so pure
Helping us realise our true selves.
All so unique in itself,
Though an amalgamation of them
Creating the most beautiful painting, a rainbow,
Making us feel as a part of something bigger.
Some makes us joyous, some sad,
While some others makes us feel loved, and some lonely.
Some of us living our lives in shadows of black and white,
Shunning out the happiness life has to offer us,
Distancing ourselves from the world, without any colour in our lives,
Their lives best described as a blank canvas.
However, a rainbow the best path of life,
Leading us to live life to the fullest,
Without any regrets.
