A complete turn of events, the world as we know it, remodelled
"The new normal is here" is the word around town,
And that just brings everybody down.
Words that were once never in our dictionary,
Now seem eerie.
A lockdown was once never heard,
The thought was always absurd.
But here it is, and we are in it,
A situation we never expected to be in, yet we must admit.
Troubled are these times
But it does not define our decline.
We shall rise too
And the world as we know it, will be anew.
